Aquaponics is an agriculture system where a symbiotic relationship between fish and plants occur, using water as the main source of food. The fish produces waste that contains two microbes: Nitrate and Ammonia. These microbes are then transported to the plants through whatever material is being used, such as water pumps, plastic tubes, motors, sensors, PVC pipes, gravity, etc... to aid the plants in flourishing and nourishment. As a result, the plant produces a purified version of the water using the waste it received, leaving bits of microscopic organisms for the fish to feed on. Then, this cycle continues providing continuous growth for the plants and fish. As a result, both benefit and reproduce rapidly making it a great business for marketing since no preservatives are needed or another way that you can provide food for your family without going to the store every 2 weeks.
